About Bradley Jay
Bradley Jay Jones built a career that moves between construction sites, military service and the courtroom. He studied technical trades early, earned multiple associate degrees in building construction and construction management, and later turned to communication and law. He began his professional life in construction. Early roles included project engineer at Layton Construction and project manager at FWS Construction. He went on to lead Meridian General Contracting as president. Those years gave him experience in project delivery, contracts and on-site problem solving. He holds a Construction Document Technologist credential from the Construction Specifications Institute.
Jones served in the Army National Guard and has a mix of military experience and training. He has been an infantry officer in the Montana Army National Guard and interned with the Oregon Army National Guard. His move into law followed internships and an associate role at Bulman Law Associates. He worked there as an intern in 2013 and as an associate in 2014. He began practicing under his own name in 2015 and in 2018 became owner of Jones & Cook Lawyers at Law. He holds active bar memberships in both Montana (since 2014) and North Dakota (since 2015). He is also a member of the Montana Trial Lawyers Association and has previously been associated with the Federalist Society.
Jones' background ties construction, military service and courtroom practice together. His construction experience informs how he approaches contract disputes and project-related cases. His military service contributes procedural discipline and familiarity with regulatory training. In practice he has handled both counsel work and trial preparation, drawing on experience earned in several different professional settings.
He maintains a private practice based in Montana and is admitted to practice in North Dakota as well. He currently practices through Jones & Cook Lawyers at Law, handling matters arising in Montana and North Dakota.
