About Brad J.

Brad J. Davidson combines an engineering background and a legal education in a career that has spanned decades. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1992. A decade later he completed his Juris Doctor at Texas Tech University School of Law in 2002. The two degrees make for an uncommon pairing in a legal career.

He entered the practice of law after law school and has been active in bar and civic life since. He holds licensure to practice in Texas and New Mexico, and he has been a member of the State Bar of New Mexico since 2017. In 2019 he became part of the Texas Bar Fellows. His memberships also include the Lubbock Area Bar Association and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Those affiliations reflect an attorney who maintains ties to both state and local legal communities.

Outside the courthouse, Davidson has taken on local civic responsibilities. He was part of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lubbock Class in 2007–2008 and then served on the Leadership Lubbock Steering Committee from 2008 to 2009. He has continued to hold membership in regional bar groups, signaling an ongoing engagement with the professional networks that shape practice and policy in his region.

Davidson’s engineering training informs how he approaches legal questions. He brings a technical perspective to matters that involve complex facts, and he is comfortable working through detailed technical records and expert material. That background can make for clearer case analysis and helps when translating technical concepts into legal strategy. He applies that perspective while respecting the procedural and advocacy demands of civil practice.

He practices through his own firm, the Brad J Davidson Law Office. He maintains his active memberships and practices across the two jurisdictions in which he is licensed. Colleagues and clients see an attorney who balances attention to technical detail with the practical requirements of litigation and client counseling. He has kept a steady presence in local professional circles and in bar organizations over the years.

He now concentrates his efforts in private practice at the Brad J Davidson Law Office, representing clients in matters in Texas and New Mexico.
