About Bonnie M

Bonnie M Lonardo earned her J.D. from UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2003 after completing a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1998. Her legal education was rooted in the Las Vegas academic community where she studied both law and the social sciences. Those years shaped an early interest in how law interacts with organizations and everyday life.

She began her legal career in private practice. In 2006 she joined Farmer Case & Fedor as an associate. Three years later she moved to McCarthy & Holthus, where she continued in firm practice. In 2013 she worked as a lawyer at Peters and Associates before taking ownership of her own firm in 2014. That firm, LJ Law, remains her base of operations.

Over more than a decade in practice, Lonardo has combined experience at several Nevada firms with the responsibilities of managing a small firm. Her roles have included client counseling, case preparation and litigation tasks common to private practice. She has handled files for a range of clients and learned the administrative demands that come with running a legal practice.

Lonardo has maintained active ties to the local bar and professional groups. She is a member of the Hispanic Lawyers Network and has belonged to the Latino Bar Association since 2014. She joined the Clark County Bar Association in 2013 and became part of the Howard D. McKibben Inn of Court in 2009. Her association with the Southern Nevada Association of Women Lawyers began in 2004. These memberships reflect steady participation in Nevada’s legal community.

Her professional life is rooted in Nevada. She is licensed to practice in that jurisdiction and has built a practice that serves clients across the state. Over time she has shifted from staff positions at established firms to leading her own office, a move that changed the day-to-day responsibilities she handles.

At LJ Law she runs the firm’s operations and manages client matters. Her practice addresses legal needs presented by individuals and entities in Nevada. She continues to work in the state where she was educated and where most of her professional affiliations are based. She currently operates LJ Law, handling a range of legal matters for clients across Nevada.
