About Bonnie Ann
Bonnie Ann Christie began her legal path at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She built a foundation there before moving into roles that combined insurance work and civil practice. Over the last decade she has moved steadily from in-house work to private practice ownership.
Her first listed legal role came in 2013 when she served as a subrogation lawyer at the Law Offices of Levin and Clinebell. That role included in-house counsel responsibilities for GEICO and placed her squarely in the middle of insurance recovery work. In 2015 she joined Rathbone Group, LLC as a lawyer, broadening her experience in firm-based practice. Three years later she became a partner at Brown, Christie, and Green, a step that added firm leadership and client management to her resume.
In 2021 she opened Christie Law Office, PLLC. The move to firm ownership marked a new phase. She has overseen both day-to-day operations and case work while building a small practice that draws on her earlier insurance and subrogation experience.
Her early work in subrogation involved pursuing recovery of payments and coordinating with insurers and claimants. That practical exposure to insurance processes, claims documentation, and the mechanics of recovery actions shaped much of her subsequent practice. The positions she has held required managing evidence, preparing demands, and engaging in dispute resolution when claims moved toward litigation.
Christie is admitted to practice in both Texas and Louisiana. That dual admission requires familiarity with two legal systems and practical adjustments when matters cross state lines. She has handled matters that require attention to state procedures and deadlines in both jurisdictions.
Colleagues and clients have encountered Christie in a range of settings, from in-house insurer work to private-firm representation. Her career path shows a steady progression from specialist subrogation tasks to broader responsibility for cases and for the management of a small firm. She maintains her practice at Christie Law Office, PLLC and continues to serve clients under the laws of Texas and Louisiana.
She currently practices at Christie Law Office, PLLC, handling legal matters in Texas and Louisiana.
