About Bobbie

Bobbie Masters combines advanced legal study with hands-on practice in immigration law. She trained at multiple institutions before settling into a career that spans private practice and litigation. Her path to the law has both breadth and a steady forward motion.

Masters completed dual bachelor’s degrees at Colorado State University in 1999, earning a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Anthropology. She then earned her J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2003. After practicing and gaining experience, she pursued postgraduate study and received an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University in 2005.

Her education informs a practice that addresses cross-border and domestic immigration questions. Early in her career she moved into immigration work, applying her classroom training to client matters in administrative and federal settings. The LL.M. in international legal studies added a comparative perspective that she has used when cases raise questions about foreign law or international protections.

Masters is active in professional organizations. She holds current memberships in the District of Columbia Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Professionally, she serves as Owner and Lawyer at Masters Law Office, P.C., running a small practice and overseeing casework.

At Masters Law Office, P.C., she works on immigration-related matters in both administrative forums and federal court when cases warrant litigation. Her practice involves representing individuals and families through government processes and court appearances. Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who handles procedural work, filings and advocacy in a wide range of immigration matters.

Outside of casework she maintains connections to bar activities and the professional networks that support immigration practice. She continues to update her knowledge as laws and regulations change. Her current practice concentrates on immigration law at Masters Law Office, P.C.
