About Bobbi
Bobbi Meloro built a practice that moved from firm life to running her own office. She studied political science as an undergraduate, attending Bridgewater State College from 1989 and earning a B.S. in 1993. She then enrolled at the University of Miami School of Law in 1996 and received her J.D. in 1999.
Her career began in private practice. In 1999 she joined Homer Bonner Jacobs as an associate. That early position introduced her to the day-to-day work of litigation and client counseling. In 2005 she became a senior associate at Lash & Goldberg LLP. The move offered more responsibility and a broader docket. In 2011 she took an of-counsel role at Herron Ortiz while continuing to operate her own practice.
In 2007 she established the Law Offices of Bobbi L. Meloro, P.A. That step formalized a transition to running a small firm. As owner, she handled both casework and the business side of the practice. Her background in larger firms shaped how she manages files and directs client matters today.
Meloro is licensed to practice in Florida. Over the years she has handled matters that required court appearances and negotiated resolutions outside of court. Her work has involved counseling clients, drafting pleadings, and representing parties at hearings. She has balanced litigation tasks with client intake and case strategy planning.
Colleagues describe her as practical and direct in court and in consultations. She has moved between roles that required different skills: associate work that emphasized billable hours and team projects; senior associate tasks that demanded greater independence; and firm ownership that required overseeing operations and client relations. Each phase added a different perspective on how legal services are delivered.
Outside the courtroom she has maintained steady ties to South Florida, the place where she completed law school. Her practice reflects both courtroom experience and an understanding of transactional and procedural aspects of law. She continues to accept clients through her firm, handling matters that align with her experience and the resources of her office.
As of 2026 she is engaged in private practice through the Law Offices of Bobbi L. Meloro, P.A., where she focuses on client representation and case management.
