About Blake Lewis
Blake Lewis Kilday built his academic foundation at the University of Georgia, where he completed undergraduate studies in housing and consumer economics and added a minor in Portuguese. He later earned a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. Those studies gave him a grounding in both the practical and analytical sides of legal work.
Kilday moved into practice soon after law school and has held a string of litigation positions. Early in his career he practiced family law at Meriwether & Tharp, LLC in 2018. He then worked in litigation roles at Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, LLC in 2020 and at Busch, Reed, Jones & Leeper, PC in 2021. In 2022 he took on litigation assignments at Moore, Ingram, Johnson & Steele, LLP and later that year joined Jones & Palmer, LLC.
Across those roles he has focused on courtroom and casework typically associated with civil litigation. His resume shows steady work in litigated matters rather than transactional practice. Colleagues have described him as one who moves between files and court calendars with an eye for procedural detail. He has experience managing case dockets and participating in the phases of litigation that firms assign to litigation lawyers.
At Jones & Palmer, LLC Kilday continues in litigation capacities. He handles tasks firms commonly assign to litigation lawyers and contributes to client representation in contested matters. He maintains ties to the procedural side of practice and brings experience from several Georgia firms to his current role. He currently practices civil litigation at Jones & Palmer, LLC.
