About Bill Elliott
Bill Elliott Rivera earned his law degree from Fordham University School of Law, receiving a J.D. in 2002. He moved into immigration practice after law school and built a career focused on federal and administrative immigration work. His legal education at Fordham provided the foundation for a practice that has centered on immigration law for nearly two decades.
Rivera began working at Rivera Law Center, PLLC in 2008. He has served there as an immigration law attorney, handling cases that range from routine administrative matters to litigation that reaches federal courts. The firm listing ties him to a small-practice environment where he has handled individual client matters and contested proceedings.
His credentials include admission to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. That appellate access has informed a portion of his caseload, where appeals and federal filings intersect with immigration issues. He is also active within professional circles. Rivera has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Texas Chapter since 2009 and remains involved in that chapter’s activities.
Over the years Rivera’s work has required navigating administrative hearings, petitions, and federal filings. He represents clients in matters that can involve both agencies and courts. His practice pattern reflects the combination of administrative advocacy and litigation that many immigration matters demand, including appeals that proceed beyond the immigration courts.
He maintains his practice at Rivera Law Center, PLLC, where he continues to represent individuals and organizations in immigration matters, including cases that proceed to the Eleventh Circuit and related administrative proceedings. He currently focuses his practice on immigration law and appellate work arising from immigration cases.
