About Bill
Bill Easterly earned his law degree from the University of Memphis after completing undergraduate work at Middle Tennessee State University. He built his legal foundation in Tennessee schools and has kept his professional life rooted in that state. The education prepared him for courtroom work and the practical demands of trial practice.
Early in his career he entered the Tennessee legal community and took up membership in its professional organizations. He belongs to the Tennessee Bar Association and is listed as a member of the Nashville Bar Association. Those memberships have kept him plugged into the local bar and its continuing education offerings. He also holds membership in the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, associations that connect him to peers who litigate in state and federal courts.
Easterly’s career has emphasized litigation. Colleagues and clients have known him as a trial lawyer who brings cases to court when necessary. He has combined courtroom work with the day-to-day demands of managing case preparation, discovery and client communication. His association affiliations reflect that practical orientation toward trials and jury work rather than purely transactional practice.
He established Bill Easterly & Associates, P.C. to handle litigation matters and to give clients direct access to the attorney handling their case. The firm structure allows him to coordinate trial strategy while overseeing other attorneys and staff who support case development. That hands-on management style is evident in how the firm presents and moves cases toward resolution or trial.
Within the legal community, Easterly participates in continuing legal education and bar activities. Today he practices at Bill Easterly & Associates, P.C., where he handles trial litigation and related courtroom matters across Tennessee. His current practice centers on representing clients in contested matters and preparing cases for trial in Tennessee courts.
