About Betsy
Betsy Salcedo began her legal education at the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1999 and earned her J.D. in 2002. She built her foundation at a public law school that serves a broad cross-section of the state. That early training set the stage for a career centered in New Mexico.
She has practiced in New Mexico throughout her career. In 2014 she established Salcedo Law PC and has been the firm’s owner since that year. Over that time she has managed the daily operations of a small firm while attending to the legal needs of clients in the state.
Salcedo maintains membership in the State Bar of New Mexico. Her involvement in the profession also includes service on the Supreme Court Professionalism Committee, a role she has held since 2014. That committee work places her among attorneys who address standards of conduct and professional behavior in the state court system.
Her work combines the routine demands of running a law office with the responsibilities that come from participation in bar and court bodies. She handles client intake, case management and the administrative tasks that keep a small practice functioning. The public records of her affiliations show steady engagement in New Mexico’s legal community.
Colleagues and contacts describe her practice as grounded in the practicalities of local law practice. She has balanced courtroom and office responsibilities while maintaining an active presence in professional circles. Her long-term residence and work in New Mexico inform how she approaches cases and client relations.
Today Salcedo continues to lead Salcedo Law PC in New Mexico. She remains an active member of the State Bar of New Mexico and a member of the Supreme Court Professionalism Committee. Her current practice focuses on providing legal services to clients through Salcedo Law PC in New Mexico.
