About Bethaney

Bethaney Embry has built a practice that sits at the intersection of law and community work. She has been visible in local bar and professional organizations, taking on leadership roles and committee duties that keep her in regular contact with other lawyers and with the public. Her name appears often in the meeting minutes and event programs of organizations focused on trial practice and the advancement of women in the profession.

Her legal career includes active participation in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. She serves on the Young Lawyers Division Community Outreach Committee and co-chairs the West Metro TLA. Those positions put her in the middle of efforts to educate the public and support newer lawyers. She has also taken a leadership post as Douglas Paulding Chapter President for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, a role that involves program planning, member engagement and advocacy within the legal community. She holds membership in the Atlanta Bar Association as well.

Colleagues describe Embry as someone who shows up to meetings, organizes events and follows through on the details. She has worked on community outreach projects and on chapter-level programming for women lawyers. The work requires practical scheduling, fundraising and public speaking. It also requires listening to members who want services, networking opportunities and professional development.

Her office is The Embry Law Office, LLC, where she maintains a private practice. From that base she coordinates the administrative and client-facing sides of her work. Running a small firm has put her in charge of intake, case management and local outreach. It has also given her a platform to stay engaged in the bar associations where she holds leadership posts.

Outside of formal committee titles, Embry appears often at local CLE events and community forums. She participates in panels and planning sessions that aim to improve access to information about the legal system. The combination of association leadership and a private practice gives her both the institutional reach and the personal contact necessary to assist clients and colleagues.

She continues to lead chapter and committee work while operating The Embry Law Office, LLC. Her current practice focuses on serving individuals and businesses in her community.
