About Beth
Beth Moeller is a seasoned employment attorney based in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been practicing law in Georgia since 2006, following her graduation from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2002. At Moeller Barbaree LLP, she represents both employees and employers in various aspects of employment and civil rights litigation, including complex wage and hour collective and class actions. Her practice encompasses federal and state courts nationwide, advising clients on compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and other relevant laws. In addition to her litigation work, Beth provides counsel on a range of employment law matters, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Family and Medical Leave Act. She also addresses state law issues like wrongful discharge, defamation, and negligent hiring and supervision. Her approach focuses on practical solutions to prevent and mitigate workplace risks, whether through early case resolutions or vigorous representation in court. Beth's professional affiliations include the Labor & Employment Section of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Bleckley Inn of Court. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers, being selected as a Rising Star in 2010 and 2012, and as a Super Lawyer in 2026.
Before co-founding Moeller Barbaree LLP, Beth gained experience representing nationwide retailers in collective and class actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and related state wage-and-hour statutes. She also defended a national pharmacy chain in actions under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, and Section 1981. Beth earned her Bachelor of Arts in 1999 from Oklahoma State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She served as the Assistant Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and was a member of the ABA Moot Court Team. She is admitted to practice in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the Western, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma, and the Fourth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals.
Beth is also committed to legal education and community involvement. She has taught law-related classes at Young Harris College and has been a member of the writing committee for the State Bar of Georgia High School Mock Trial Competition since 2005. She resides in Cobb County, Georgia.
