About Bernard Romani

Bernard Romani III built his academic foundation before he entered the legal profession. He earned a B.S. in Government from Suffolk University in 1979, followed by an M.S. in Labor Relations from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1985. He completed his law degree at Western New England University School of Law in 1987.

After law school he remained tied to Massachusetts law. He has been a member of the Massachusetts State Bar since 1990. Early in his career he worked at Moriarty, Donoghue & Leja, P.C., beginning in 1990. That experience placed him in firm practice and exposed him to the everyday mechanics of litigation and client counsel at a regional level.

By 1999 he was practicing under his own name. Records list him as Bernard J. Romani beginning that year. Over time he has maintained a private practice presence in the state and kept active memberships in several local bar groups. He belongs to the Hampden County Bar Association and the Hampshire County Bar Association. He also joined the Berkshire Bar Association in 2015 and continues that membership.

Romani’s graduate study in labor relations remains a defining strand of his background. That academic work gives him familiarity with workplace dynamics and employment-related legal issues. It also informs how he evaluates disputes where labor, management and regulatory questions intersect. He has handled matters that require attention to both legal detail and practical workplace concerns.

Colleagues and clients have seen him move between firm-based practice and solo practice. That path allowed him to combine courtroom experience gathered early on with the responsibilities of running an independent practice. He has worked in Massachusetts courts and administrative settings, applying procedural tools learned over a multi-decade career.

Outside of court dockets, Romani has kept steady ties to regional legal communities. His memberships in county and state bar associations reflect a long-standing engagement with professional networks across western and central Massachusetts. He has sustained that involvement while adapting to changes in practice and procedure over time.

He currently maintains offices under the name Bernard J. Romani Esq. and practices in Massachusetts. He concentrates his current practice on private legal work serving clients across the state.
