About Benjamin
Benjamin Tryk built a quiet practice rooted in California courtrooms and neighborhood concerns. He studied sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, earning a B.A. in 2002. He went on to earn his J.D. from Ventura College of Law in 2007, then moved into private practice and litigation work in the state.
Tryk started his own firm in 2012, operating under the name Tryk Law and later Tryk Law, P.C. He has spent the years since developing hands-on experience representing individuals in civil matters. His time in practice includes courtroom appearances and negotiations on behalf of clients in disputes that stem from consumer and injury-related claims.
His peers and professional organizations have recognized his work. He was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for several consecutive years, from 2012 through 2016. In 2015 he gained life membership in both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, memberships that reflect settlement and verdict levels in certain cases. He holds active memberships in Consumer Lawyers of California and Consumer Lawyers of Los Angeles, groups that connect trial lawyers who represent consumers across a range of civil claims.
Colleagues describe Tryk as practical and direct. He favors clear explanations over legalese when meeting with clients. Courtroom experience shaped his approach to case preparation, and he often prepares cases as though they will proceed to trial. That preparation style informs settlement talks and file management alike.
Over time Tryk has handled matters that vary in complexity and scale. His practice has included individual claims where damages reached substantial figures, as indicated by his memberships in national advocates’ organizations. He continues to handle litigation, discovery and client counseling personally rather than delegating those tasks wholesale.
Today he practices at Tryk Law, P.C., where he represents individuals in civil litigation and consumer-related cases.
