About Benita

Benita Ventresca built her legal foundation on two California campuses. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Berkeley, then went on to receive a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law. During her studies she worked on the Golden Gate Law Review and also had an association with the Santa Clara Law Review, experiences that shaped her approach to legal writing and analysis.

Early in her career Ventresca took on roles that brought her into the local court system. She served as an arbitrator for the Santa Clara County Courts, handling matters that the court referred to arbitration. That position gave her regular exposure to courtroom procedure and settlement processes, and it kept her connected to judges and court administrators across Santa Clara County.

Outside the courtroom she has been active in bar circles. She is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the California Bar Association. Within the Santa Clara County Bar Association she has been involved with the Family Law Division in the past. These memberships have kept her engaged with continuing education and the professional networks that sustain local practice.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing cases and pragmatic at the negotiating table. She has experience drafting pleadings, managing discovery and presenting matters in arbitration settings. Her background on law reviews is visible in her written work. It tends to be precise, citation-minded and attentive to statutory detail.

Ventresca’s career path has been centered in the Bay Area legal community. She has balanced time in court-related roles with private practice work. That mix has made her familiar with both litigation rhythms and case-resolution options outside a trial.

Today she practices law in the Santa Clara area. Her work draws on her arbitration experience and her prior involvement in family law matters, and she continues to participate in local bar activities while representing clients in civil and family-related matters.
