About Ben
Ben Miller built a legal foundation at two well-regarded institutions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law. Those years on campus set the stage for a steady career in Tennessee courts.
He began practicing law in 2006 at Brewer, Krause, Brooks & Chastain, PLLC. Early work there involved direct client representation and courtroom appearances. Colleagues recall a lawyer who learned the practical rhythms of litigation and client counseling the hard way: by taking cases, preparing them, and seeing them through. The experience shaped his approach to case preparation and courtroom strategy.
In 2015 he joined The Higgins Firm PLLC as a lawyer. His move to the firm marked a mid-career shift into a different office culture and caseload. At The Higgins Firm, Miller continued to represent clients across Tennessee, handling filings, hearings and settlement discussions. Outside casework he remained active in professional circles. He is a current member of the Tennessee Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He also belongs to the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. Those memberships have kept him connected to developing practice trends and colleagues statewide.
Miller is licensed to practice in Tennessee and has spent his career working in that jurisdiction. He combines courtroom experience from his earlier years with ongoing practice at The Higgins Firm PLLC. The work often calls for both advocacy and detailed file management. He has balanced trial preparation with negotiation and client counseling over a span of years.
Today he continues at The Higgins Firm PLLC, practicing in Tennessee and managing client matters across the state. His current practice focuses on representing clients at various stages of dispute resolution and legal process.
