About Ben

Ben Hoffman trained at Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he completed his degree in 2011. He left law school at a time of shifting legal landscapes and joined a generation of lawyers who entered practice amid rapid technological change. The law school years shaped his approach to legal problems. They also provided the foundation for practice across state lines.

After graduating, Hoffman began his legal career in the Northeast. He is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Those dual jurisdictions have informed the kinds of matters he handles and the clients he represents. He has worked on matters that require attention to both states’ rules and procedures, and he understands the practical differences that can affect strategy and outcomes.

Hoffman’s work has covered a range of civil matters. He has experience in litigation and transactional settings and regularly appears in state forums when cases demand it. Colleagues describe him as deliberate in preparing cases and pragmatic at the negotiating table. He tends to break complex issues into discrete steps and then address each in sequence. That method often helps reduce surprises when a matter advances toward trial or settlement.

In his current role at Cousin Benny, Hoffman handles matters that benefit from cross-jurisdictional perspective. The office environment there favors direct client communication and hands-on file management. He spends time explaining procedural options to clients and mapping out practical timelines. Clients who prefer clear milestones and frequent updates find that approach useful.

Outside the office, Hoffman follows developments in state court rules and statutory changes that affect practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He attends continuing legal education programs and participates in local professional gatherings. He views ongoing learning as part of day-to-day work rather than a separate activity. In practice, that means adapting file strategies when new precedents or rules shift the balance in a particular type of dispute.

At present, Hoffman continues to practice through Cousin Benny, concentrating on civil litigation and related transactional work across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. His current practice focuses on representation in matters that span those two jurisdictions.
