About Baskin Lowber
Baskin Lowber Jones earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi in 2010 after beginning law school in 2007. He arrived at the law school as part of a generation of students who balanced classroom study with early practical exposure to litigation and client work. During his time there he joined professional organizations that he maintains today.
Soon after earning his degree, Jones took on a leadership role at Jones Law Group, listed as Partner beginning in 2010. The firm is identified as a personal injury practice. That early partnership designation placed him in the center of case development, client intake and courtroom preparation. Records show he later served as an attorney at Giddens Law Office in 2011, a role that added another perspective to his practice and brought him into different case types and firm environments.
Jones is admitted to practice law in Mississippi and has authorization to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He holds active memberships in the American Association for Justice and the Mississippi Association for Justice, both of which he joined in 2008 and continues to list as current affiliations. Those memberships indicate sustained engagement with organizations that serve litigators and trial lawyers.
Throughout his career Jones has been associated primarily with personal injury work through Jones Law Group. His experience at two different offices in the early years of his career gave him exposure to varied approaches to client advocacy. That experience included handling pretrial matters, working on settlement negotiations and preparing files for trial, according to the professional listings that record his roles.
Colleagues and court records show Jones has remained active in the regional legal community. He maintains his bar standing in Mississippi and filings indicate he remains authorized to practice in federal appellate matters within the Fifth Circuit. He continues to participate in association activities that relate to trial practice and civil justice.
As of 2026 Jones is practicing at Jones Law Group, where he represents individuals in personal injury matters and handles related litigation in state and federal venues.
