Barry M. Wax is a criminal defense attorney based in Miami, Florida, with over 40 years of experience in state and federal courts. He specializes in complex criminal cases, including fraud, economic crimes, conspiracy, and drug trafficking. In addition to his criminal defense practice, Mr. Wax represents clients in professional licensing matters, defending Florida Bar complaints and litigating before various professional licensing agencies under the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Mr. Wax earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1985. He was recognized as the Intramural Mock Trial Champion in 1984.

He was also named an Avvo rating of 10 in 2015 and received the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers President's Service Award in 2007.
