Barry David Kellman is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1995. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Kellman is the managing partner at Kellman & Kleiman, a law firm located at 12100 Wilshire Blvd, Floor 8, Los Angeles, CA 90025. He has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout California and the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Kellman earned his Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law in 1995. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in 1992. During his time at UCLA School of Law, he was named Distinguished Advocate in the Roscoe Pound Moot Court Tournament.
Mr. Kellman concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law and business law. He represents clients in matters involving employment contracts, employment discrimination, overtime and unpaid wages, sexual harassment, whistleblower claims, and wrongful termination. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kellman has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as a partner and employment lawyer at Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger from 1995 to 2006.
Mr. Kellman is an active member of the California State Bar and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He has been selected as a Southern California Super Lawyer in Employment Law for multiple years. He regularly provides training in all aspects of employment law for business owners, managers, and human resources professionals. Mr. Kellman is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
