Barbara Laurie Stagg is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993. Her license is currently in active status. She has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients throughout Sonoma County and the surrounding areas.
Ms. Stagg earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Law in 1992, specializing in Environmental Law. Prior to law school, she completed her Master of Science in Environmental Management at the University of San Francisco in 1983. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English from Antioch College in 1965. These educational experiences have provided her with a strong foundation in environmental and legal studies.
Ms. Stagg concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, estate administration, wills and trusts, conservatorships, elder abuse, and alternative dispute resolution. She represents individuals and families in matters involving the creation of wills and trusts, the administration of estates, and the resolution of disputes related to elder care. Her practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial consultations, document preparation, negotiations, and court appearances.
Throughout her career, Ms. Stagg has handled cases in various courts, including the Superior Court of California for the County of Sonoma. Prior to establishing her own firm, she worked as an associate attorney at a law firm specializing in estate planning and probate matters.
