About Barak J

Barak J Berlin trained in political science and international affairs before turning to law. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Boston University in 1995 and completed his J.D. at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 2001. Those academic years set the stage for a practice grounded in courtroom work and community ties.

He began his legal career in public service. In 2002 he served as a deputy public defender in the San Bernardino County Public Defender’s Office. That role gave him front-line experience in trial work and client advocacy. Later that same year he opened his own practice, the Law Offices of Barak Berlin, where he has been the owner since 2002.

Over the years Berlin has kept involved in local professional and business groups. He holds membership in the National Association of Consumer Advocates since 2009. He joined the Southwest Riverside County Bar Association in 2006 and the Temecula Chamber of Commerce the same year. He also served on the board of the Wildomar Chamber of Commerce from 2008 to 2009. These affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with both the legal community and the towns where he practices.

His courtroom background as a public defender and his long-standing private practice have shaped a practice style that balances litigation experience with an awareness of local needs. Clients who come to his office encounter an attorney who has handled public defense matters and who has managed a private firm for more than two decades. The combination of those roles has influenced how cases are prepared and presented in and out of court.

Berlin is licensed to practice in California and has maintained a practice based in that state since launching his firm. He continues to participate in bar and community organizations while managing his office. His work remains tied to the region where he has built professional relationships and local knowledge.

He currently practices at the Law Offices of Barak Berlin, serving clients in California.
