About Bailey L.

Bailey L. Vos earned her law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2017. Before turning to law she studied theater arts at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a background that she says shaped how she communicates in the courtroom and with clients. The combination of a liberal arts undergraduate program and a professional law degree informed an early approach to litigation and client work.

Her legal career began in the Houston area practice of Lorenz and Lorenz, where she joined the firm in 2018 as an associate attorney. There she handled a steady docket of matters and learned the practical rhythms of firm practice. Daily tasks ranged from drafting pleadings and motions to taking depositions and preparing witnesses for hearings. That early period put her in front of judges and clients frequently, and gave her repeated exposure to case management under deadlines.

In 2020 she moved to McKinney Vos LLP. The change brought a broader slate of responsibilities. At McKinney Vos she continued as a lawyer, building on the procedural and advocacy skills developed in prior positions. Colleagues describe her as someone who prepares thoroughly and thinks carefully about next steps. Work there has included courtroom appearances and negotiation on behalf of clients, along with the written advocacy that supports those efforts.

Vos is admitted to practice in Texas. Over the years she has focused on practical legal work: preparing filings, arguing procedural matters, counseling clients on litigation strategy and coordinating with experts. Her theater background shows up in courtroom presence and in client-facing communications. She is comfortable explaining complex legal points in plain terms and in moving a case forward through the phases that litigation typically requires.

Outside the courtroom she has been involved in the day-to-day tasks that keep a law practice running. That has included supervising preparation of briefs, managing discovery, and working with opposing counsel to narrow contested issues. The aim in those efforts is to resolve disputes efficiently when possible, and to be ready for trial if necessary.

She currently practices at McKinney Vos LLP and is admitted to the bar in Texas. Her current practice is focused on providing legal representation to clients from her firm’s Texas offices.
