About Bahram
Bahram Madaen trained in business before he trained in law. He earned a B.S. in Business from California State University, Los Angeles in 2000. He then completed his J.D. at Southwestern University School of Law in 2003. Those credentials frame a career that crosses legal practice and nonprofit leadership.
Soon after law school, Madaen entered private practice and built a routine of handling matters that required both courtroom work and client counseling. He is admitted to practice in California and to appear in the Ninth Circuit, credentials that shape the kinds of matters he accepts and the courts where he appears. In 2007 he stepped into a leadership role outside the private bar, serving as CEO of the Fresh Start Foundation. That position placed him in an administrative and program role during a time when the foundation was pursuing outreach and support efforts.
Madaen has balanced running a law office with community-facing responsibilities. Over the years he has taken responsibility for case strategy and day-to-day management at his firm, Madaen Law, Inc. He runs the practice and oversees its operations. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing filings and practical in client conversations. He is known for keeping files organized and for preferring clear, direct explanations over legalese when speaking with clients.
His work spans matters that require appearances in state court and federal appellate involvement in the Ninth Circuit. That mix means he must switch between trial preparation and appellate briefing. He has handled both written submissions and oral argument preparation, and he maintains a steady calendar of litigation-related deadlines. Outside the courtroom he has focused on the administrative side of practice management, including staffing and client intake processes.
Madaen’s career path reflects a combination of legal training and executive experience. He has moved between roles that demand advocacy and roles that require organizational oversight. That combination informs how he runs his firm and how he evaluates potential cases.
As of 2026 he practices law through Madaen Law, Inc., representing clients in matters filed in California courts and in proceedings before the Ninth Circuit.
