Babak Semnar is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2003 and holds bar number 224890. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Semnar is the managing partner at Semnar & Hartman, LLP, a law firm located at 41707 Winchester Road, Suite 201, Temecula, California. He has been practicing law for over 22 years, serving clients throughout Riverside County and the surrounding areas.

Mr. Semnar earned his Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College School of Law, where he graduated in 2002. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Loyola Marymount University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. During his time at Whittier College, he was actively involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in consumer protection and employment law.

Mr. Semnar concentrates his practice in the areas of consumer protection, employment law, and civil litigation. He represents individuals in matters involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and other employment-related issues. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Semnar has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Riverside, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding Semnar & Hartman, LLP, he worked as an associate at a consumer rights firm in Vista, California, where he gained extensive experience in debt collection abuse and employment law.

Mr. Semnar is an active member of the California State Bar and the San Diego Consumer Attorneys. He is also a member of the Trial Lawyers College, an organization dedicated to training and supporting trial lawyers. He is fluent in English and Farsi, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Riverside County effectively.
