About Avita M
Avita M Samaroo earned her law degree from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in 2013. Before turning to law she completed an MBA in marketing management at the University of Tampa in 2004 and a bachelor’s degree in fine arts at the University of South Florida in 2001. The mix of business training and an arts background shaped an early career that moved between commercial roles and legal support positions.
Her first legal role came in 2001 as a legal assistant for Davanand Singh, Esq. She spent the next several years in business and real estate-related positions, including work as a business consultant and as a sales associate. Those roles included positions at ACE Golf Learning Centers, Flooring America, Samcrest Holdings and American Invsco. In 2008 she served as office manager at Westside Medical Clinic, a role that drew on both administrative skills and client-facing responsibilities.
While in law school she took on judicial and defender internships. In 2012 she was a judicial extern in the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando. The following year she interned with the Federal Defender in the Middle District in Orlando. Those experiences were followed by a 2015 clerkship at the Law Offices of Scott Miller, P.A.
After passing into private practice she worked as an associate at NeJame Law in 2015 and also practiced through Samaroo Law in the same year. Her resume shows roles that span firm practice and independent legal work. Professional memberships include the American Bar Association since 2013 and the Central Florida Women Lawyers Association since 2014. She has maintained a Florida real estate sales associate license since 2005.
On the credentials side, she holds certification as a County Court Mediator from the Florida Supreme Court. That credential complements her real estate license and the mix of litigation support and transactional experience she accumulated early in her career. The combination of courtroom exposure, clerkship work and business roles informs how she approaches client matters.
Colleagues and clients see an attorney who moved deliberately from business into law, gathering courtroom and transactional experience along the way. Her record shows steady involvement in professional organizations and ongoing licensing in both real estate and mediation. She currently practices at Nejame Law. Her work covers mediation and real estate matters.
