About Audrey Lee
Audrey Lee Anderson built her legal foundation at Washington University in St. Louis, where she completed a B.S. in 1994, studying economics, political science and business administration. She continued her studies at Chicago-Kent College of Law, earning a J.D. in 1998. Those years gave her both academic breadth and a grounding in law school practice that led quickly to a clerkship at the Illinois Appellate Court after graduation.
Her early career followed a steady arc through private practice. In 1998 she served as a judicial clerk at the Illinois Appellate Court. The next year she joined Larry Roberts & Associates as an associate. In 2000 she moved to Blackburn & McCune, P.L.L.C., where she took on a broader caseload and deeper courtroom work. By 2005 she was serving of counsel at Helen Rogers & Associates, a role that reflected the variety of matters she handled and the advisory capacity she performed for clients and younger lawyers.
In 2013 Anderson opened her own firm under the name Audrey Lee Anderson Lawyer At Law and became managing partner. That step marked a shift toward running a small firm while still maintaining a hands-on practice. Over the years she has practiced in both Tennessee and Illinois, maintaining memberships in local and statewide bar groups. She has been part of the Nashville Bar Association since 1999. She joined the Williamson County Bar Association in 2005. She is a member of the Tennessee Association for Justice since 2013 and has been involved with the Sumner County Bar Association since 2014.
Her credentials include listing as a Rule 31 family mediator by the Tennessee Supreme Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. That designation allows her to serve in court-ordered and private mediation settings for family matters. Her combination of mediation training and courtroom experience shapes how she approaches disputes: assessing when litigation is necessary and when a negotiated resolution will better serve clients and families.
Colleagues and clients have encountered Anderson in a variety of roles over a multi-decade career: clerk, associate, of counsel and principal of her own firm. She has navigated both the administrative demands of running a firm and the day-to-day responsibilities of casework. Today she practices from Audrey Lee Anderson Lawyer At Law, serving clients in Tennessee and Illinois, and continues to accept matters that involve mediation and related civil disputes.
Her current practice focuses on family mediation and civil matters in Tennessee and Illinois.
