About Ashley Mackin

Ashley Mackin Brodie is a Georgia-licensed attorney who built her legal foundation in the state where she now practices. She attended the University of Georgia and continued her studies at Georgia State University College of Law, where she completed her legal education. Those years established the academic groundwork she would use in court and at the negotiation table.

After law school, Brodie began practicing in Georgia. She is a member of the Ocmulgee Circuit Bar Association and the Macon Bar Association. Her peers elected her president of the Ocmulgee Circuit Bar Association for the 2014–2015 term, a role that placed her at the center of local bar activity and professional programming. The presidency added administrative duties to her professional life and put her in regular contact with judges and fellow practitioners across the circuit.

Her career has combined day-to-day client work with service to the legal community. At the bar association level she worked on initiatives that aimed to support local attorneys and improve access to court resources. In private practice she has handled filings, client consultations and court appearances in state venues. She maintains memberships in local legal organizations that connect lawyers across Macon and the Ocmulgee circuit.

Brodie practices from offices of the Brodie Law Group. The firm maintains locations in Macon and Gray. From those offices she manages client matters brought to the firm and coordinates the staff and attorneys who assist on those matters. She works with clients directly, prepares court submissions and participates in hearings when cases proceed to litigation.

Colleagues describe her as steady and pragmatic in her handling of legal tasks. She balances courtroom responsibilities with the practical demands of running and staffing a law office. That balance informs how she briefs cases, prepares witnesses and meets deadlines for filings in Georgia courts.

Her ties to the Macon legal community remain active through the Macon Bar Association and the Ocmulgee Circuit Bar Association. She continues to engage in the professional networks that shaped her early practice. Her current practice is based at the Brodie Law Group offices in Macon and Gray and serves clients throughout Georgia.
