About Ashley M.
Ashley M. Watkins earned her J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law. While in law school she served as an ethics advisor and worked in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office as a gang unit law clerk. Those early experiences gave her exposure to courtroom procedure and legal research at an early stage of her career.
Watkins began her legal employment as a file clerk in 2010 at Lynberg & Watkins. She moved into law clerk and associate roles at Koeller Nebeker Carlson & Haluck, LLP in 2013 and 2014, where she handled research, drafting, and client file work. In 2015 she joined Bergener Mirejovsky, APC as a lawyer and later advanced to a senior lawyer position in 2018. In 2019 she became a partner at Sam & Ash Injury Law.
Her practice spans California and Nevada, jurisdictions in which she is admitted to practice. Over the years she has handled civil litigation matters and represented clients in cases arising from accidents and related claims. The combination of defense and plaintiff-side work earlier in her career informed her approach to case preparation and courtroom advocacy.
Watkins maintains an active role in local and regional bar and trial organizations. She holds memberships in the State Bar of California and the Chapman Law Alumni Association. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. After moving into Nevada practice, she joined the Clark County Bar Association and the Southern Nevada Association of Women Lawyers. She also participates in the Nevada Justice Association and remains involved with the Consumer Lawyers organizations in California and Los Angeles.
Colleagues describe her as thorough in preparation and steady during litigation. She has taken depositions, handled motion practice and tried matters in both state forums. Her work as a law clerk and in the district attorney’s office contributed to developing an ability to organize complex factual records. Outside of litigation, she has experience advising on ethical questions from her time as a law school ethics advisor.
She is currently a partner at Sam & Ash Injury Law. She practices in California and Nevada and handles personal injury cases and related civil litigation matters.
