Arthur Richard Liberty is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1983. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Liberty is a member of Liberty & Associates, a personal injury law firm located at 100 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 700, Santa Monica, California. He has been practicing law for over 40 years, serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Mr. Liberty earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, graduating in 1983. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980. During his time at Loyola Law School, he was involved in various legal clinics and externships, gaining practical experience in personal injury law.
Mr. Liberty concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury law, including automobile accidents, boating accidents, head and spinal injuries, motorcycle accidents, trucking accidents, wrongful death, and premises liability. He represents individuals in matters involving serious motor vehicle accidents, premises liability claims, and other personal injury cases. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Liberty has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding Liberty & Associates, he worked as a trial counsel and partner at other law firms, gaining extensive experience in personal injury litigation.
Mr. Liberty is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Ventura County Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Consumer Attorneys of California, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association.
