About Ariel
Ariel Rojas began her formal legal education at Florida International University, earning a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2012. She stayed at FIU for law school and received her J.D. from Florida International University College of Law in 2016. The combination of criminal justice undergraduate study and a neighborhood law school shaped a practical approach to courtroom procedure and client work.
Rojas's earliest legal experience came in 2014 when she served as a legal intern for the Eleventh Judicial Court of Florida. That position exposed her to courtroom calendars, filing protocols, and the day-to-day mechanics of trial court practice. After law school, she joined Aponte Law, LLC as an associate in 2016, gaining experience in case development and client counseling. In 2017 she worked as a volunteer lawyer for Brevard County Legal Aid Inc., where she handled matters that required clear prioritization and direct client contact.
Her next move was to Figueroa Law Group, PA in 2018, where she continued as an associate. The firm work broadened her exposure to litigation strategy and client intake systems. By 2020 Rojas had taken on a role at the Law Offices of Robert S. Hannan as an associate. That same year she launched her own firm, Rojas Law, PA, transitioning into solo practice while retaining casework and courtroom responsibilities.
Throughout her career Rojas has maintained active membership in Florida professional organizations. She is a member of The Florida Bar and lists membership in the Florida Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Club. Those affiliations place her in regular contact with peers across practice areas and keep her connected to continuing legal education offerings and practice resources in Florida.
Colleagues describe Rojas as methodical in case preparation. Her background combines courtroom internship experience, legal aid work, and private firm practice. She has handled client interviews, drafted pleadings, and appeared in court on behalf of clients. The career progression from intern to firm associate to solo practitioner gives her firsthand experience of different practice settings and client expectations.
Rojas operates Rojas Law, PA in Florida and handles matters in state court. Her current practice centers on serving clients in Florida state matters through direct representation, court appearances, and case management.
