About Aria
Aria Vatankhah combines legal training from both sides of the Atlantic. She earned an LL.B. in Law from the University of Westminster in 2002, followed by an M.S. in Law from the London School of Economics in 2006. She then completed an LL.M. at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco in 2007. Those credentials form the backbone of a career that moves between UK and California legal frameworks.
She began practicing as a solicitor in 2006 at Sucker & Sucker. That early role gave her front-line experience in client work and firm practice. After completing her LL.M. in San Francisco, she remained engaged in legal practice across jurisdictions, applying her UK training to matters that often raised comparative questions.
In 2010 she founded Aria Law Group PLC. She has served as the firm’s founder and principal since then. Establishing the firm was a step toward building a practice that reflects her cross-jurisdictional background. The firm operates under her direction and handles matters that draw on both her UK and US legal education.
Vatankhah is licensed to practice in California. Her education and early practice in the United Kingdom mean she is conversant with both legal traditions. That combination informs how she assesses transactions, regulatory issues and client concerns that touch more than one legal system.
Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who is methodical and concise. She favors clear analysis and practical solutions over legal theory alone. Court appearances, transactional work and advisory assignments all benefit from a practitioner who can translate complex legal questions into straightforward advice.
Her career path shows a steady progression from solicitor to law firm founder. She moved from working within an established firm to leading her own practice. That shift changed her role from day-to-day casework to also managing business and client relationships at a higher level.
Today she continues to lead Aria Law Group PLC in California. Her practice draws on training in the United Kingdom and the United States and concentrates on matters that reflect that dual background. She maintains an active role in the firm’s cases and client strategy, and she practices law in California.
