About Ari R.
Ari R. Karpf has built a career that combines firm leadership with courtroom practice. He earned a B.A. from the International College of Fort Myers in 2000 and a J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2003. Those credentials set the stage for a practice anchored in multiple state and federal jurisdictions.
Shortly after law school he joined Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C. and by 2005 was serving as a managing partner. That role has required balancing client work with the operational demands of running a law firm. Over the years he has overseen case staffing, handled filings in a range of courts, and maintained the firm’s presence across its service areas.
Mr. Karpf is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and he is authorized to appear before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He also maintains memberships in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of New Jersey. Those admissions allow him to take cases that move between state trial courts and federal forums.
He has been listed as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association since 2003. Membership in those organizations has put him in contact with practitioners across the region and provided forums for continuing legal education. Within the firm, he has been involved in mentoring younger attorneys and reviewing litigation strategies, tasks that reflect the combination of casework and management responsibilities he carries.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in court and deliberate in firm matters. He has handled filings and appearances in both state and federal courts and has managed teams assigned to complex dockets. Over two decades in practice, he has continued to expand the firm’s ability to operate across multiple jurisdictions while maintaining a steady flow of courtroom and client work.
As of 2026 he remains a managing partner at Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti, P.C., practicing across state and federal courts where he concentrates on matters brought in the firm’s jurisdictions.
