About April Perry

April Perry Randle built a foundation in liberal arts and law before settling into private practice. She completed undergraduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University, where her coursework encompassed pre-law, French and English and is listed with a B.A. in 1995. She earned her J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 2000.

Her first legal role came immediately after law school, serving as a judicial clerk for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 2000. The clerkship placed her inside appellate procedure and legal research at a formative moment in her career. She moved into the private sector the following year, taking a position as a defense contract analyst and strategic planner at SAIC in 2001, where she worked on government contracting issues and program oversight.

In 2005 she opened her own practice, establishing what is now the Law Office of April Perry Randle. Running a small firm required wearing many hats. She handled client intake, case management and the business side of law while continuing to advise on matters tied to her prior government contracting experience.

Outside the office she has maintained a visible civic profile in the Chattanooga area. She is listed as active with the Better Business Bureau and supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and J103 – Partners for Christian Media. Since 2020 she has been associated with the Chattanooga Women’s Legal Institute and listed as a preferred vendor for the Chattanooga Small Business Networking Group. These affiliations reflect an ongoing interest in local business development and legal education for community members.

Colleagues and clients describe a pragmatic approach to problem solving that leans on her appellate and contracting background. Her docket has included matters that draw on those skills as well as general civil practice tasks common to a solo office. She continues to operate the Law Office of April Perry Randle, PLLC, managing both client work and the practice’s administrative needs. Her current practice concentrates on civil matters and legal services for local businesses and individuals.
