About April Kelly

Ms. Neal graduated high college from Johnson County, Georgia in 1985 and she or he has a diploma in commercial enterprise administration. She is a proud 2005 graduate of John Marshall Law School in Atlanta wherein she attended college at night time even as operating complete-time with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings Operations. Ms. Neal continues to take nealy all of her continuing felony schooling in training related regulation and is a 2018 graduate of the William and Mary Law School’s Instute of Special Education Advocacy. She has participated in the Pacific Northwest Instutite of Special Education Law as well as the Special Education Symposium at Leigh University. She has a 20 yr profession with the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings Operations and she or he retired January 2024 to release her personal law office Neal Student Support Advocacy & Disability, LLC.

Ms. Neal determined her ardour for eduction law after her son’s prognosis of autism and later her daughter’s prognosis of dyslexia. Her kids have been not getting the perfect helps, resorts, and offerings they had to prevail academically. Ms. Neal knew matters needed to alternate when the only certified lawyers she discovered within the vicinity of education regulation represented school systems and not dad and mom or college students.

Ms. Neal is a member of the Georgia Bar’s Child Protection and Advocacy Committee, Council of Parent Lawyers and Advocates (COPAA), and GeorgiaCAN. She has hosted the Wrightslaw Special Education Law & Advocacy Conference in Georgia 3 times and volunteers with Georgia Legal Services Program representing college students in schooling subjects. Ms. Neal’s task is to inform the public of their rights as it relates to schooling in Georgia in order that public education is better for all of us.
