About Anthony Greg

Anthony Greg Mowry studied English and theater as an undergraduate before turning to law. He earned a B.A. from North Central College in 1999 and a J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2005. Those years framed an early interest in argument and analysis that would carry into a mixed civilian and military legal career.

After law school he worked at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit as a staff lawyer in 2005. That position placed him inside a federal appellate environment, handling research and case processing at a high level. Two years later he entered military service. In 2007 he joined the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps and served as a judge advocate, taking on duties common to military legal practice.

Mowry’s credentials include admission to practice before both civilian and military appellate bodies. He is admitted in Pennsylvania and Florida and to the U.S. Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Those admissions reflect work across different procedural settings, from state courts to specialized military appellate review.

Colleagues describe his background as rooted in appellate work and military law. His time at the Eleventh Circuit exposed him to federal appellate procedure. His years as a judge advocate gave him familiarity with courts-martial, military rules, and the distinctive timetables of military appeals. He has handled legal research, brief writing, and case preparation in both arenas.

Mowry now practices from Mowry Law Office. He brings together his appellate experience and military practice in representation for clients who need assistance in state or military appellate matters. He represents clients before the relevant tribunals and works on the written and oral advocacy those matters require.

His practice continues to bridge the civilian and military legal systems, carrying forward the appellate and courtroom experience he developed in federal and military service. He currently focuses on appellate and military appeals practice.
