Annette Gilliam is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987. Her license is currently in active status. She has been practicing law for over 38 years, serving clients throughout Southern California.

Ms. Gilliam earned her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where she graduated in 1987. During her time at Loyola, she was actively involved in the Entertainment Law Journal, serving as a staff member and later as the Managing Editor. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at California State University, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics in 1972. She was recognized on the Dean's List and received the Alumni Association Award for Distinguished Student in Physics in 1971.

Ms. Gilliam concentrates her practice in the areas of employment and labor law, corporate and incorporation matters, and construction and development. She represents individuals and businesses in various legal matters, including employment disputes, corporate governance, and construction-related issues. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout her career, Ms. Gilliam has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Riverside and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as an associate attorney at Parkinson Wolf Lazar & Leo from 1987 to 1990, and as a senior attorney at Southern California Edison Company from 1990 to 2013.

Ms. Gilliam is an active member of the California State Bar Association. She has been recognized for her contributions to the legal field, including being named a Super Lawyer every year from 2010 through 2025. She is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honorary organization of judges, lawyers, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and the highest principles of the legal profession. Ms. Gilliam is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
