Prior to joining Complex Appellate Litigation Group LLP in 2015, she was counsel in the appellate practice at O'Melveny & Myers LLP from 2011 to 2015 and an associate at Williams & Connolly LLP from 2006 to 2011. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the California Supreme Court.
Ms. Mathieson is an active member of the California State Bar and the Oregon State Bar, having been admitted in 2021. She is certified as an appellate specialist by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Family Violence Appellate Project and is a member of the Amicus Committee of California Women Lawyers. She has also been recognized as one of the Top Women Attorneys in California by the Daily Journal three times and has taught appellate writing at Stanford Law School. Ms. Mathieson is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of French, allowing her to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
