About Anna Marie

Anna Marie Parise earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1998. She trained at a law school known for its clinical programs and urban ties. Today she is licensed to practice in Ohio and her education remains a touchstone for the work she does in the state.

Her career has been anchored in private practice at Dworken & Bernstein Co., L.P.A., where she handles matters that arise in local courts. Over the years she has combined firm work with an active presence in county and state bar organizations. She holds membership in the Ohio State Bar and serves as the District 18 representative on the Ohio State Bar Foundation. Those roles put her in regular contact with the administrative and educational side of the profession.

Parise has taken on several leadership positions within the Lake County Bar Association. She is co-chair of the Family Law Committee and she also co-chairs the bar’s Supreme Court Trip. Those posts involve organizing programming and coordinating events for attorneys in the county. Outside the county bar, she has been a long-time participant in Legal Aid Society of Cleveland initiatives. Her involvement there dates to at least 2014, when she volunteered for the Volunteer Lawyers Program. Starting in 2015 she has been listed as a Partner in Justice and Legal Aid Ambassador, a role that ties practicing attorneys to legal services for low-income residents.

Her professional path is marked by a steady mix of courtroom work and bar leadership. She has taken part in projects that support access to legal services and has worked within professional groups that shape continuing legal education at the local level. Colleagues and bar administrators see her as someone who stays active in committee work, balancing that with a caseload at her firm.

In her current practice at Dworken & Bernstein Co., L.P.A., Parise concentrates on family law matters in Ohio. She continues to maintain her bar memberships and committee roles while serving clients through the firm. Her current practice focuses on family law matters in Ohio.
