About Anna Christine
Anna Christine Fernandez studied human behavior before she studied law. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida International University in 2007. Four years later she graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law with a J.D. in 2011. Her education laid a practical foundation for courtroom work and client counseling alike.
She began practicing law after law school and is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Early in her career she became active in local civic boards and legal associations. She joined the Equal Opportunity Advisory Board of the City of Miami in 2016 and has served on that board since. That role deepened her involvement in municipal and community issues and connected her to a range of local organizations.
Fernandez took on a leadership role at her firm in 2019, becoming Managing Partner at Legal Lotus. The title reflects a move from individual casework toward overseeing operations and client strategy. At the same time she has maintained public-facing volunteer positions. Since 2016 she has also served on the board of Business Educational Assistance of Tomorrow (BEAT). Her membership roster includes the Florida Association of Women Lawyers and the Animal Legal Defense Fund, both since 2011, and the Cuban American Bar Association from 2011 onward. She joined Business Network International in 2019 and remains active there.
Certifications complement her memberships. She holds a Real Estate Associate credential through Florida Realtors and is a Notary Public at Large through the Florida Association of Notaries. Those qualifications inform much of the transactional work she handles. Her legal interests extend beyond transactions into community advocacy, shown by years on municipal advisory bodies and nonprofit boards.
As managing partner at Legal Lotus, P.A., Fernandez combines practice supervision with client representation. She runs firm operations and mentors younger attorneys while continuing to handle cases and closings. Colleagues say she brings practical problem-solving to negotiations and hearings. She maintains an active schedule of board work and professional meetings, balancing firm responsibilities with civic participation. She currently concentrates on real estate transactions and community-oriented legal services.
