Ann Ellyn Kolber is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in both California and Nevada. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987 and holds bar number 131708. In Nevada, she was admitted in 2002 and holds bar number 8144. Her license status in both states is currently active. Ms. Kolber is the founding partner of Law Practice, Ltd., a family law firm located at 5516 S. Fort Apache Rd., Suite 110, Las Vegas, NV 89148. She has been practicing law for over 30 years, serving clients in both California and Nevada.
Ms. Kolber earned her Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1985. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her educational background has provided her with a solid foundation in legal principles, which she applies in her practice.
Ms. Kolber specializes in family law, handling cases such as divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, property division, and alimony. She is committed to resolving cases amicably through alternative dispute resolution methods like negotiation and mediation, aiming to minimize stress, cost, and conflict for her clients. She has also appeared before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Judicial District Court of Nevada. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City, California, for five years.
Ms. Kolber is an active member of the Nevada State Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. She holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Family Law. She is also a certified mediator through the Nevada State Bar's Alternative Dispute Resolution program. Ms. Kolber is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of Nevada and California effectively.
