Ann Anat Gottesman is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006 and holds bar number 243220. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Gottesman is the sole proprietor of the Law Office of Ann Gottesman, a criminal defense firm located in Pasadena, California. She has been practicing law for over 20 years, serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding counties in Southern California.
Ms. Gottesman earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, where she graduated in 2005. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at California State University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree. During her time at Southwestern, she clerked for Justice Earl Johnson Jr. of the Second District Court of Appeal, assisting with the drafting of judicial opinions, including one that was published as a case of first impression.
Ms. Gottesman concentrates her practice in the areas of criminal law and DUI defense. She represents individuals in matters involving DUI charges, drug offenses, domestic violence, theft, and other criminal allegations. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Gottesman has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding her own firm, she worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years.
Ms. Gottesman is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. She holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. She is also a certified mediator through the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program. Ms. Gottesman is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
