About Ani
Ani Adjemian is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006. Her license is currently inactive. Ms. Adjemian is a partner at Kessel & Megrabyan, a civil litigation law firm located in Glendale, California. She has been practicing law for over 19 years, serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Ms. Adjemian earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 2006. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Economics in 2003. During her time at UCLA, she was involved with the Armenian Students Association.
Ms. Adjemian concentrates her practice in the areas of environmental law, products liability, and employment law. She represents private employers and public entities in matters involving workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and premises liability claims. Her practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Adjemian has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Kessel & Megrabyan, she worked as a partner at Dongell Lawrence Finney LLP from 2006 to 2015 and as senior counsel at Walsworth - WFBM, LLP from 2015 to 2019.
Ms. Adjemian is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. She has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Southern California Super Lawyers Magazine every year since 2014. In addition to her practice, she serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at Glendale University College of Law, where she has been teaching since 2021. Ms. Adjemian is fluent in Armenian and English, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
