About Angeles Susi
Angeles Susi Carrion earned her law degree from CAL Northern School of Law after a four-year course of study that concluded in 2015. She began her legal studies in 2011, following earlier professional roles that had already given her courtroom exposure and language credentials. Her academic path culminated in a J.D., preparing her to practice in California.
Her career before entering private practice was varied. In 1982 she joined the United States Army as a computer specialist. Later, in 1999, she worked as a court clerk at the North Las Vegas Municipal Court. That same year she also became a state-certified court interpreter in Nevada, a credential she has carried forward into her legal work. Those early positions combined administrative, technical and linguistic responsibilities and informed her later choices as a practicing lawyer.
Carrion moved into private practice shortly after earning her law degree. In 2016 she began working as a lawyer at Carrion Law Offices and also operated under the name Law Office of Angeles S. Carrion. Her practice has remained anchored in California, where she is a member of the State Bar of California. She also belongs to local and statewide professional organizations, including the Lake County Bar Association (since 2018), the California DUI Lawyers Association (since 2017) and the California Lawyers Association (since 2017). These memberships reflect ongoing participation in the legal community and a steady presence in regional bar activity.
Her background as a court clerk and as a certified interpreter informs how she handles matters in and out of the courtroom. The interpreter certification, issued in Nevada in 1999 and later recognized alongside her California practice, has been a consistent part of her professional profile. That experience can be useful in cases that require working with non-English-speaking clients, court proceedings that demand precise translation, or administrative hearings where procedural detail matters.
Colleagues and clients have found her practical experience—spanning military technical work, court operations and private practice—gives her a broad perspective on legal problems. She has bridged roles that are often separate: administrative court functions, on-the-ground technical work and litigation practice. That variety shows through in how she approaches case preparation and client communication.
As of 2026 she continues to practice law in California through Carrion Law Offices, handling matters that reflect her courtroom background and interpreter credentials and focusing her practice on serving clients in the state.
