About Angela

Angela Streit is a dedicated family law attorney based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2008. Before embarking on her legal career, Angela completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at the University of St. Thomas in 2001. She furthered her education with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Botany from Washington State University in 2004.

This diverse academic background laid a solid foundation for her analytical skills and attention to detail—qualities that are essential in the legal field. After passing the Minnesota Bar Exam, Angela began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Minnesota Court of Appeals. From 2008 to 2011, she worked under the Honorable Terri J. Stoneburner, gaining invaluable insights into the judicial process. This experience gave her a understanding of appellate law and the details of legal reasoning. Following her clerkship, Angela joined Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A., where she practiced from 2011 to 2014.

During this time, she developed her skills in various areas of law, preparing her for her eventual focus on family law. In 2015, Angela made a significant career transition to Heimerl & Lammers LLC, where she has since concentrated on family law matters. Her practice encompasses many issues, including divorce, child custody, and child support. Angela’s commitment to her clients is evident in her thorough approach to each case, ensuring that their needs are met with compassion and expertise. Her experience is further recognized by her inclusion in the Super Lawyers list for 2024 and 2025, which highlights her as a top-rated family law attorney in Minneapolis. Angela is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
