About Angela
Angela Lund-Logan studied history at the University of Northern Iowa before earning her law degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. She took an academic path that moved from the study of past events to practicing law in the present. The shift from history student to attorney set the tone for a practice grounded in careful fact-finding and attention to context.
After law school she established a practice in Illinois. In 2007 she opened the Law Office of Angela Lund-Logan and has operated as lawyer and owner since then. That step made her a small-firm principal and placed her in charge of both the legal work and the business of running a solo practice. Over the years she has handled assignments that require courtroom presence, negotiated resolutions outside the courtroom, and handled procedural work behind the scenes.
Lund-Logan holds certifications that reflect work in family and court-appointed roles. She is certified as a Guardian ad Litem in the 17th Judicial Circuit. She also serves as an arbitrator in the same circuit. Those credentials mean she accepts appointments to represent the interests of minors or incapacitated parties and hears cases submitted for arbitration. The certifications require familiarity with local court practices and an ability to manage sensitive matters.
She created Solo Practicing Lawyers (Women), a group that arose from the needs of attorneys working alone. The organization provides a place for peers to exchange practical advice about running a small law office. Lund-Logan is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Winnebago County Bar Association. Those memberships keep her connected to broader developments in Illinois law and give her access to continuing education and professional networks.
Her practice has been based in Illinois throughout her career. She combines court-appointed roles, arbitration duties, and private client work within a small-firm setting. Colleagues and clients see someone who manages both the legal tasks and the administrative realities of solo practice. Her current practice focuses on Guardian ad Litem work, arbitration assignments and representation in Illinois courts.
