About Angela
Angela Duhon built a path to the law that looks nontraditional on paper and practical in practice. She earned a B.S. from Arizona State University in 2010 and continued her legal education at Arizona Summit Law School, receiving her J.D. in 2014. Those classroom years set up a transition from varied early roles into a legal career.
Long before she opened her own firm, Duhon worked in financial services at the Mayo Clinic starting in 2000. She later launched Arizona Roller Derby in 2005, an experience that put her in the position of managing an organization and handling its day-to-day legal and operational questions. In 2012 she served as a special advocate for the Arizona Supreme Court, performing duties that exposed her to court procedures and client advocacy in a formal legal setting.
Shortly after completing law school, she established Duhon Law, PLLC in 2017 and began practicing as a lawyer. Around the same time she joined several professional groups, including the State Bar of Arizona, the Maricopa County Bar Association and the Arizona Women Lawyers Association. She also became active with the Maricopa County Volunteer Lawyers Program, where she maintains membership. Phi Alpha Delta lists her as a member since 2012.
Those memberships reflect steady engagement in the local legal community. They also indicate an interest in volunteer and bar activities alongside private practice. Duhon’s history shows a blend of nonprofit and business experience followed by direct courtroom and client work.
She is admitted to practice in both Arizona and New Mexico. That interstate bar standing allows her to represent clients across state lines when matters require it. Her earlier role with the Arizona Supreme Court and her years managing an independent organization add layers to how she approaches client issues and firm management.
Colleagues and clients see someone who moved from corporate and civic roles into running a law office. She founded Duhon Law, PLLC and has managed the firm since 2017. The office handles matters for individuals and small organizations in the region.
Today Duhon manages Duhon Law, PLLC and serves clients in Arizona and New Mexico through that practice.
