About Angel
Angel Torres earned a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law. His time at Ohio State included direct client work through the Student Housing Legal Clinic, where he handled tenant disputes and related housing matters while still in school. The clinic experience introduced him to courtroom procedure and client advocacy early in his legal career.
After law school, Torres moved into civic and professional leadership roles. He served as treasurer and later chair of the Spanish American Civics Association, handling organizational governance and community outreach. He has also taken on roles in bar governance, sitting in the Pennsylvania Bar Association House of Delegates and serving on the Lancaster Bar Association Board of Directors. Those posts gave him experience in policy discussions and bar administration, and they kept him engaged with the local legal community.
Torres belongs to several professional groups aligned to administrative and disability law. He is a current member of the National Association for Disability Representatives and the National Organization of Social Security Representatives. He also maintains membership in the Lancaster Bar Association. Those affiliations reflect a professional interest in administrative advocacy and the procedural rules that shape disability benefit claims.
At the office level, Torres is affiliated with Nikolaus & Hohenadel, LLP. In that setting he handles matters that require interaction with federal agencies and administrative tribunals. He has worked on claim advocacy, evidentiary development and hearings preparation. Colleagues describe him as methodical and pragmatic in case management; clients note his willingness to explain complex procedures in straightforward terms.
Torres’s background combines clinic-based client work, bar leadership and professional association involvement. That mix informs how he approaches case intake and the development of evidentiary records for administrative proceedings. He has experience preparing clients for hearings and coordinating medical and vocational documentation when those records are needed for benefits determinations.
Today Torres practices at Nikolaus & Hohenadel, LLP, where he handles Social Security disability and other administrative claims on behalf of clients seeking benefits.
