About Andy
Andy Warshaw began his legal training at Franklin & Marshall College, where he earned a B.A. in 2005. He went on to Chapman University Fowler School of Law and received his J.D. in 2008. Those formative years set the groundwork for a practice rooted in insolvency and restructuring work.
After law school, Warshaw joined DiMarco Warshaw, APLC. He practices in California and has developed his career inside that firm’s environment. Over time he has taken on a range of matters that commonly arise in bankruptcy practice. His work is grounded in the procedural and factual demands of chapter filings and creditor negotiations.
Warshaw holds certification as a Specialist in Bankruptcy Law from the State Bar of California. That credential signals a concentrated body of knowledge in bankruptcy statutes, federal practice, and case law that governs reorganization and liquidation. He handles both individual and business bankruptcy matters and routinely deals with elements such as plan confirmation, asset liquidation, and creditor claims. He represents debtors and advises clients on options available under Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 frameworks.
He maintains current memberships in professional organizations relevant to his practice, and he engages with peers on issues that affect bankruptcy procedure and creditor rights. Colleagues describe him as someone who focuses on the legal and tactical elements of a matter rather than on broad generalizations. He prepares filings, attends hearings, and negotiates settlements. His courtroom appearances tend to involve contested relief from stay motions, dispute over exemptions, and plan confirmation hearings.
Clients and opposing counsel encounter a lawyer who is conversant in both the statutory framework and the local rules that shape practice in California’s bankruptcy courts. That practical knowledge informs how he structures cases and advises clients on realistic outcomes. He continues to work from DiMarco Warshaw, APLC, where his practice centers on bankruptcy and insolvency matters and the attendant litigation and transactional issues that arise in those cases.
