About Andrew

Andrew Tate began his academic journey at Emory University, where he completed both his undergraduate and law degrees. He earned a Bachelor of Arts before continuing at Emory to receive his Juris Doctor. Those years at Emory shaped his approach to legal study and practice, grounding him in research and writing while exposing him to a range of doctrinal and practical coursework.

After law school, Tate entered the Georgia legal community. He is admitted to practice in Georgia and built his early career in that jurisdiction. His professional path led him to NDH Lawyers, where he serves as an associate. In that role he has taken on tasks typical for early-career attorneys: preparing legal research, drafting motions and briefs, and assisting more senior lawyers in case strategy and client meetings. He works on matters that arise in state courts and supports transactional work when it intersects with litigation.

Colleagues describe Tate as methodical in his preparation. He approaches each file by breaking it down into discrete issues, then assembling the facts and authorities that bear on those questions. He spends time in the library and at the computer, tracing precedent and statutory text. That thoroughness helps when cases move from initial pleadings toward discovery or settlement talks.

Tate’s time at NDH Lawyers has involved both courtroom and behind-the-scenes work. He has observed trials and hearings, and he has contributed to settlement negotiations under the supervision of firm partners. He also assists in client counseling sessions, where factual development and legal options are weighed. Those experiences have given him a practical sense of how litigation unfolds and what clients expect from counsel.

Outside of case work, Tate maintains ties to the academic community that trained him. His Emory education remains a touchstone for how he frames legal questions. He continues to follow developments in Georgia law and to refresh his knowledge of federal procedures when matters cross jurisdictions.

He currently practices law in Georgia as an associate at NDH Lawyers, handling client representation and case preparation for matters that arise in state courts.
